In order to strengthen the Governance, Risk & Control Team in Operations, we are looking for a Governance, Risk & Control Analyst (100%). In this attractive role, embedded in the 1st line of defense you facilitate the implementation of various risk frameworks, lead or support risk assessments and further enhance controls. You pro-actively identify and mitigate process gaps and risks and contribute to the stable and sound service provision and process delivery of Operations. As part of a diverse team and in close collaboration with 2nd line of defense governance areas of the bank you improve the risk & compliance culture and foster a good balance between risk taking and risk mitigation in Operations.Key responsibilities
Act as Operational Risk and Business Continuity Champion of Operations
Support the implementation and lead the execution of various governance, risk & control topics in Operations
Support the definition, implementation and oversight of 1st level controls in Operations
Support the Head Operations Governance in internal bank governing bodies’ meetings as requested
Participate in the periodic review and update of the 1st level control catalogue
Lead risk assessments and periodic re-assessments in close collaboration with other functions
Oversee and follow-up on risk mitigation measures in Operations
Support the Governance, Risk & Control Manager with internal and external audit topics
Follow up on and coordinate improvement initiatives based on previous audits
Your profile
University Degree; further education in risk and control or related fields is an advantage
2-3 years of experience in a similar role in financial services
Good understanding of Operational Risk and / or IT Risk frameworks
Good understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
Solid understanding and /or affinity for IT and Information Security processes and themes
CISA or CRISC certification is an advantage
Familiarity with ITIL and Cobit 5 is an advantage
Independent, responsible and goal-oriented work style with a “can do attitude”
Good stakeholder management on all hierarchy levels and cross-functionally
Very good communication and presentation skills
English and German language skills (spoken and written)
