Job Overview

 


To effectively manage all Process Engineering Functions within Systems Production including the introduction of new processes products and equipment.


 


MAIN ACTIVITIES
• Is a process leader for assembly or other TE manufacturing processes, ensuring the processes are running at optimum levels for quality and output
•Develops individual products or specific elements of medium size projects
•Manages technical elements while maintaining performance and schedule
• Develop, evaluate, introduce and release new processes and new equipment in the lines, including 3D-design of tools and documentation according to ISO and safety requirements
• Qualification of new equipements / tools / fixtures for manufacturing processes
• Establish, review and improve instructions (WI, equipment set-up, adjustment, common care and safety, maintenance plan definition)
• Participate to product design review with R&D (DFM / DFA)
• Coordination with responsible for production and the maintenance of equipments and facilities
• Coordination of training and train production staff to achieve and maintain performances
• Support the implementation of SPC on all key processes
• Take the role for developing and ensuring 3D-printing activity
• Reporting


 


AUTHORITY & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Selection of subcontractors
•Influence in present role at the individual project team level
• Planning, on-time and in-budget fabrication of mechanical parts
• Planning, on-time and in-budget installation of new tools


 


SPECIFIC LOCAL REQUIREMENTS
• Attend in daily GO-meetings on the shopfloor


 


What your background should look like:

  • University/Engineer degree in Engineering/Electronics; manufacturing or mechanical education preferred

  • Time and project management skills

  • Familiar with APQP standard

  • Practical experience in tool / fixtures design (SolidWorks prefered)

  • Knowledges in GD&T 

  • 3D-Printing experience is a plus

  • Ability to analyse and improve manufacturing processes

  • very good Communication skills and facilitation experience

  • good Process-FMEA

  • good Knowledge of operational process management and lean management
