Event Infrastructure Integration Manager

To support our Event IT Department, FIFA is looking to recruit a results oriented and trustworthy team player with a high sense of accountability as Event IT Infrastructure Integration Manager.

Your duties



  • Leading several cross-functional projects within FIFA IT focused on: network designs, IT hardware requirements, physical infrastructure requirements and corresponding schedule of accommodation, process of installation, operations and support of the IT solution during events

  • Lead working groups related to the design of Event IT delivery model by integrating business requirements with an cost effective and efficient IT solution, including IT security, network architecture and installation and operations

  • Act as point of contact for general guidance / knowledge transfer regarding IT delivery setup for FIFA tournaments and events

  • Manage, train and support Event IT Project Managers in delivering the IT services for the FIFA World Cup

  • Help to execute FIFA IT’s strategy and roadmap for tournaments and events, ensuring their continuous alignment with business requirements

  • Managing and ensuring optimal operation of IT infrastructure at FIFA tournament and events, including servers, storage, backup, infrastructure applications, end-user platforms, printing solutions, collaboration platform and mobile device management

  • Developing and maintaining standards, design documents, operating procedures and guidelines for FIFA’s infrastructure and cloud platform components

  • Contributing to the development, enforcement, and maintenance of relevant policies, standards, procedures, measures for Events IT


Our requirements



  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar

  • Proven record of successful

  • At least 5 years experience in multi-sport events

  • deliveries of various complexities within global and multi-cultural organizations

  • A minimum of five years of operational experience in the area of emphasis

  • Hands-on technical experience in designing, managing and supporting complex infrastructure solutions  

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of relevant concepts and technologies, including but not limited to data center infrastructure, Unified computing platforms (UCS) or similar integrated solution/hyper-converged infrastructure, servers and storage management, messaging solutions and mobility

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading multi-cultural teams of significant size (+20 resources)
