At our location in Regensdorf/Switzerland, we offer a senior role for leading the business and managing the overall Underground sensorics operations of a SME in the position of 

Head of Underground Unit (m/f) – 100%

Your challenges:

• Develop high quality business strategies / plans ensuring their alignment with short- and long-term objectives


• Business planning and achieving short term and long term strategic goals and business objectives; and improvement agenda - preparation, implementation / execution of plans to grow market share, business and profitability of the Underground unit, and driving long-term agenda


• Overseeing, monitoring & control of projects implementation / execution, and steering P&L


• Managing, overseeing, & controlling the functioning of regional partners (Distribution Partners); and leading teams across various functions - both projects and non-projects based i.e. business development, sales, planning; engineering; project execution; quality


• Expanding business reach in newer territories/ customers/ types of business in line with the overall strategy


• Providing effective and exemplary leadership to the team and ensuring people development


• Strengthen employee engagement and develop a high performing Underground team


• Improving customer relations by building goodwill and enhancing brand value of company


• Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company


• Representing company on important forums and enhancing the brand image of the company; and liaison with senior level government and non-government bodies

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science / Business Administration with minimum 10 years of international management experience


• 10 to 15 years of strong international management and business development experience in civil construction industry and/or within the Underground industry, with general management responsi-bilities including P&L


• Sound knowledge of contemporary sensor and software technologies is required


• Knowledge about software that deploy Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence algorithms


• Experience in leading and guiding small cross national teams is a prerequisite
