Virtual Validation Engineer


 


In this position, you will be in charge of CFD analyses with particular focus on aftertreatment systems. You may have an impact on project timing and cost.


 


Your tasks



  • Run CFD simulations of aftertreatment systems to evaluate pressure drop, flow distribution, sensors positioning, analyse urea injection and evaporation process

  • Perform single phase as well multiphase simulations with particular focus on detailed modelling of Lagrangian spray and spray-wall interaction

  • Development of new methodologies to improve CFD reliability

  • Provide guidance for testing activities

  • Design new components to meet system targets

  • Deep analysis of results and focus on correlation with experimental data

  • Release of technical report with detailed results and recommendations


 


Your profile



  • Master degree (FH or university) in mechanical engineering

  • Knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics

  • Knowledge of after treatment systems is considered a plus

  • Experience with StarCCM+ or equivalent simulation software

  • Fluent in English
