turicode is building the next-generation document digitalization platform. We enable
companies to build dedicated learning systems and extract and analyze information from
documents automatically. We are looking for exceptional talents to write their Master thesis
in the field of data extraction from documents using machine learning and deep learning:

Master Thesis in Machine Learning

Responsibilities

• Collect academic papers and research of state-of-the-art algorithms for specific
  information extraction tasks related to documents.


• Develop machine learning and deep learning algorithms for image and text extraction
  from documents.


• Evaluate machine learning algorithms using statistical methods.


• Make algorithms available for successful deployment into production.


• Present findings and share the work to the team during internal knowledge transfers.

Qualifications
Required

• BS, MS in Computer Science or Mathematics


• Strong programming skills: experience for example with Python, C# and SQL


• Demonstrated knowledge of machine learning applications

Preferred

• Interest in functional programming languages (e.g. Haskell, F#, Scala)


• Quick learner with a flair for stable and scalable systems


• Expertise in data structures and algorithms

Bonus

• Experience with Visual Studio and Git


• Communication skills in German
