 Skyguide provides air navigation services for Switzerland and certain adjacent parts of neighbouring countries. With its 1500 employees at 14 locations in Switzerland, the company guides some 1,2 million civil and military flights a year safely and efficiently through Europe's most complex airspace. To ensure that we continue to fulfill this task in the future, we are seeking a/an:

Release Train Engineer

YOUR TASK

  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Agile Release Train for ATM software applications

  • Plan, facilitate and lead the Program Increment Planning Event (PIPE)

  • Support the management of PIPE results, prepare and implement features burn-up as well as other metrics as needed for progress visualization

  • Facilitate relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops, assess the value delivery and agile practices of the ART and help to improve

  • Escalate and track impediments and identify tendencies and common causes

  • Organize and lead Scrum of Scrums and ART ceremonies

  • Coach leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets

  • Act as a liaison and ensure integration between teams and stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE

  • Engineering degree ETH/FH or equivalent with 5+ years working experience in an RTE role

  • Excellent knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe …), practices and principles. Ideally an SPC4/5 or RTE certificate holder

  • Explicit servant leader skills combined with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

  • Very good knowledge of JIRA usage for scaled agile environments

  • 5+ years of experience in software development of software testing is a strong plus

  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment, and knowledge of Air Traffic Management are a plus

  • Very good knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to branch offices (Switzerland) and suppliers (Europe)
