Our Central team – currently consisting of 6 people – is responsible in taking care of the Company’s finances, team and infrastructure. As part of this team and in your role as Senior ICT System Administrator, you are responsible for the entire IT infrastructure used by the team: laptops, mobiles, printers, network environment and security, digital signage, licensed software, cloud services and telephone system. You report directly to our CFO/Co-General Manager and work closely with our People Experience HR Team.
YOUR ROLE:
Technical Infrastructure:
You are responsible for building and implementing the IT strategy. You improve current processes and implement new tools and processes to scale up, automate and update.
You bring the current MDM solution (JAMF) to the next level in order to provide and pro-actively manage our end-users.
You are responsible for all end user devices (Mac laptops, network, TV devices, printing infrastructure etc.) in our locations in Zurich and Lausanne (role is Zurich based, only minimal travel).
You are in charge of the network environment and IT security and one of your projects will be to implement a VPN system
You manage the procurement of the IT infrastructure.
Employee onboarding and support
You are an important part of the Employee Onboarding process, making sure every joining employee has a smoothly working and customized infrastructure set up when arriving on their first day of work.
You will simplify on- and offboarding as well as improve end user security and comfort by improving the SSO systems.
You are responsible for the first level support of our team and the office IT infrastructure.
Productivity Tools:
You manage the modern portfolio of SaaS services used by our end users, such as G Suite, Dropbox, Slack, Zendesk, Asana etc.
You are responsible for the definition and upholding of end user IT security policies.
You initiate and execute ideas for improving the efficiency of our team with the help of our technical infrastructure and productivity tools.
WHO YOU ARE:
You are an experienced IT specialist with at least 5 years of working experience in a similar position.
You have successfully completed a degree in IT studies.
You are an independent and responsible person who likes to work with stakeholders on all levels from Trainee to top Executive.
You have a strong sense of responsibility, ‘the buck stops with you’ and over 100 people depend on you to have a working infrastructure
You like perfection, particularly when it comes to ensuring infrastructure is in place in time for our team members and security standards are upheld.
Your attitude is ‘The Answer is Yes’.
You are fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
