The Role 

• Contribute to the growth of the division by further developing & implementing the Divisional Sourcing Strategy supported with the vision of "First in mind, First in choice"


• Ensure world class supply chain management for the Industrial Vacuum Division & Product Companies


• Continuously develop and manage the supply chains with the local procurement teams in line with the divisional strategy of local to local risk mitigation & the divisional operational model


• Focus on product-cost reduction and operational excellence in terms of overall cost, quality, delivery performance and lowest capital tight up for our division by using benchmarking and best practice tools


• Continuously research existing and potential markets with your teams and evaluate all existing and potential suppliers based on their financial stability, technical capabilities, quality, logistic performance and their cost structure


• Establish increased flexibility with suppliers in order to meet our increasing material demand in relation to the continued growth: reduced delivery times, zero defects and Quality Assurance Systems as well as improved material flows are essential to our success to meet the needs of our customers


• Work closely together with the manufacturing departments to optimize and control the material supply chain in a quality assured way


• Actively support the engineering departments to find technical competent, cost-effective suppliers to leverage the innovation capabilities of our business partners to continuously upgrade our product range


• Search for new technologies in the supplier’s market in order to support development projects and cooperate with different R&D teams to co-develop core components


• Implement cost reduction projects


• Further develop and promote applications and sourcing processes to improve & to increase transparency of suppliers' performance and the cost structures of our supply chains


• Take corrective action in order to consolidate the supply base to the best performing suppliers


• Embrace the "Safety First" culture and implement 5S leading practices in order to improve further the performance of the product company, striving for zero work related accidents


• Develop and lead a successful team of cohesive, competent, committed and result oriented people

• Experience in developing and implementing a sourcing strategy in an operational environment by delivering improved sustainable results


• Proven track record in supply chain development and commodity management


• Proven leadership skills and track record of sourcing experience in an industrial & international environment


• Records of contract negotiation and execution with suppliers with respect to requirements of quality, cost, delivery, co-development and supplier relation management


• Master degree and a very good command in English


• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and business finance is a plus


• Being a result -driven personality with strong managerial capabilities who leads by example as a team player in a decentralized organization


• Being hands-on and stimulate the development of our customer-oriented culture


• Having the ability to empower teams and create trustworthy and fair relations with all stakeholders


• Ability to deliver innovation and create new standards


• Indisputable business ethics towards supplier relations
