The Global Senior Learning Manager/Lead, Biosimilars will be a key Learning partner for the Global Biosimilars Business Unit (BBU), focused on aligning training and development needs for Commercial field facing teams and for all office based Biosimilars employees. The Sr. Learning Manager/Lead will operate as a key partner to the Global Head of Biosimilars Filed Force Effectiveness (FFE) and Learning, responsible for designing and developing the BBU training assets and executing on Learning/training projects and processes that integrate use of training materials, modern technologies and digital platforms to better serve the BBU organization to become a leader in the aTNF market and in the Ophthalmology market for biosimilars. In collaboration with the FFE, lead and identify the proper training needed (content or upskilling) to increase the quality and effectiveness of the sales force and sales calls across affiliates, develop, deliver and monitor the training initiatives to achieve key business objectives, and partner with affiliate-based training teams to ensure pull-through and execution of the BBU Commercial Training and Learning strategy and plan. The Sr. Learning Manage will lead the development/facilitation of skill-based training for 3M functions and partner with Field Medical Effectiveness and Scientific Training Lead on the pull through of Scientific/Medical-based training to all Commercial functions. Will manage PRC approval of new training assets/materials as well as regular updating of training assets based on new data, content or strategies. Organize and lead the on boarding training of new employee in collaboration with affiliates and Global Learning. Lead, engage and support the affiliate teams on the implementation/launch of key training and assessment platforms (e.g. Video role, Qstream).
Asset development/ Design of Competency-based Learning:
- Identify training needs by consulting with stakeholders and using needs assessments
- Identify and prioritize the future skills and competencies, knowledge and attitudes required to ensure Biogen’s sales force remains successful in achieving brand objectives across multiple therapeutics areas, and design training programs to address future needs
- Develop new training materials in collaboration with BBU subject matter experts and external vendor to ensure relevant training needs and requirements are met
- Lead the PRC approval of the new training materials
- Review, update and PRC re-approve existing training materials regularly
- Administer and maintain the BBU training catalogue in Biogen University
- Identify and work with high quality external providers on content development or facilitation of skill-based or content-based training for Commercial/front-line teams
- Partner with Filed Medical Effectiveness and Scientific Training to pull through required Scientific/Medical-based training to all Commercial functions.
Overall management of Learning programs
- Organize and coordinate the NEO training for the BBU new employee
- Facilitate the FFE training session in the NEO training
- Coordinate and align with BBU standards the local new hire training plan in the Affiliates
- Design and deliver training courses and workshops, utilizing a variety of materials (train the trainer, F2F and virtual courses) in response to business and market needs.
- Schedule training sessions and manage course enrollment
- Facilitate a variety training session (scientific, FFE projects etc.) that enhance the effectiveness of the BBU Customer facing staff
- Lead, engage and manage the countries to ensure the implementation of key BBU training programs across EU
- Design/facilitate training across the 3Ms in partnership with Filed Medical Effectiveness and Scientific Training
- Leverage the One Biogen Training Group in order to maximize our use of resources and to ensure Global alignment on key training initiatives
Virtual learning:
- In collaboration with FFE Head, engage and support the affiliate front-line managers to ensure the launch/implementation of the Video role play project.
- Design, build and manage the content of the Video role play sessions for BBU.
- Manage the Qstream platform
- Research and leverage modern technologies and training methods to increase the effectiveness of Biogen’s sales force customer engagement
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees though questionnaires (Qstream), on the job observation and discussion with FLM.
- Partner with Marketing team in the co-development/facilitation of digital skills training for Commercial field facing staff
Other:
- Support the front-line managers across countries in coaching the BBU customer facing staff
- Routine in-country visits to assess local needs and tailor Learning programs
- Report, and inform Senior Leadership on training status and impact of Learning programs across BBU
