Technical Support Engineer

We are excited to offer a technical support position in the field of IT to an entrepreneurial new member of our international team. You will work in an environment where we make ideas happen fast, decide quickly and give you high levels of responsibility. You are familiar with different IT systems and technologies and you understand how to transform business needs into technical requirements. Naturally you have a “can do” attitude and you take pride in building rather than preserving. You will help improve the overall IT system landscape of On which consists of a unique cloud based infrastructure. You will help the IT team manage our external partners and major development projects. You already have or will develop a strong understanding of cloud based systems and you will be the first point of contact within On for IT support related issues.


Your Team:


You will be part of a cross-functional development team that implements features from design to deployment, being responsible and in charge of the full process and delivery. You have a lot of freedom to be creative and experimenting with new technologies. We encourage you to continuously improve efficiency, finding new ways of working with the team members, while at the same time enjoying work with like-minded people. Your Mission:



  • Support a fully cloud based IT landscape and an expanding cross-functional technology integration

  • First and second level troubleshooting of IT related issues: analyze, forward, and escalate within internal teams and external partners

  • Act as first point of contact for region specific improvements and new initiatives

  • Responsible for coordinating and executing testing of new features,  training and assist users during upgrades and roll out of new functionalities

  • Support and manage specific On IT systems administration and configuration tasks

  • Lead and manage specific IT projects, independently or with the support of the IT management


Your Story:



  • Degree in computer science or similar information technology field preferred

  • 2+ year's hands-on experience in a relevant field of IT, business systems support or consultancy

  • You arecustomer service orientedand you have experience working with Jira and Confluence or other ticketing software

  • You have been exposed to SaaS, PaaS, Salesforce.com and/or other CRM cloud solutions, and you have an understanding of cloud based technology and related architecture

  • You have an understanding of ERP platformssuch as Microsoft Dynamics,sales and distribution, supply chain and accounting business flows

  • You are not new to project management. You understand the business needs and are able to translate them into IT requirements

  • Proficiency in English, German is a plus
