Supply Chain Data Analyst

At a Glance:


We are looking for a Data Analyst in our Supply Chain team (fixed-term contract with a possibility to turn into permanent) - an operations talent with strong business acumen and a proven record of independently managing a large amount of qualitative and quantitative information into action-driven insights. You will work as part of a team to manage On’s sourcing and production supplier base, piloting the entire process of demand and capacity planning, tactical buying, production, and inventory management to ensure that the right products are in the right markets at the right time. The supply planning teams work in close collaboration on a daily basis with the other teams at On, esp. with demand planning, development, sales, strategic sourcing and logistics teams.

We work closely as a global team to convert innovative product designs and prototypes into commercialised products, and bring them into the hands of customers. We are focused and data-driven but are also action-oriented and able to multi-task, we establish and follow processes, but are also continuously challenging the status quo and industry standards.


Your Mission:



  • Implement digital and data-driven approach to Supply Chain to continuously improve the operation KPIs

  • Provide valuable data-driven insights to shape the strategic roadmap and perform ad-hoc analysis supporting decision making in the daily business in Supply Chain

  • Support the entire process of sales & operations planning, from business budgeting, sales forecasting, capacity production planning, pre-production and production, product launch, to phasing out

  • Closely monitor, analyze and mobilize inventory, strive for the balance among strong ratio of on-time order fulfilment, speedy inventory turnover and limited end-of-life stock

  • Collaborate with demand planning and logistics teams to make sure of on-time production, shipping and delivery of products to fulfil market demand

  • Interaction with outside Supply Chain stakeholders like Development, Digital, Marketing, Customer Service and Customer Experience Teams to support cross-functional projects centred around planning, product launch, and operations improvements 

  • Create data visualizations, reporting and interactive dashboards, and prepare business cases and scenario calculations, bringing your findings to the stakeholder to generate an impact


Your Story:



  • Bachelor or Master degree - preferably science or engineering major

  • Very strong analytical and organizational skills; you feel naturally comfortable with a large amount of data and qualitative information and are keen to dig out the “so-what” beneath the numbers and drive insights into actions accordingly

  • Good interpersonal skills, you feel comfortable to independently manage internal and external teams and stakeholders on all levels and from different cultural backgrounds

  • 3-5 years’ of working experience in supply chain management

  • Experience working with digital solutions around planning, production and inventory management

  • Proficiency in Excel, as well as strong modelling and data visualization skills

  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence, and their application in the supply chain is a strong advantage

  • You feel comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
