applications (medical instrumentation, analysis devices, ...). In order to support our growth, we are looking for
a

MATERIALS SCIENCE ENGINEER 80-100%

YOUR MISSION :
As a member of our R&D department, you will lead projects focused on processes and materials
developments and provide a technical expertise to the company.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Management of ceramic development projects: aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon carbide, silicon
  nitride, ruby or sapphire, and processes for manufacturing ceramic components, including shaping, heat
  treatment, traditional or specific machining


• Support to the Technical, Sales, Production and Quality departments in their activities related to our
  products or continuous improvement


• As a member of the R&D team, you ensure the continuity of R&D services in the company


• Technology scouting and intelligence

YOUR COMPETENCES :

• Materials science engineer or equivalent


• PhD or professional experience in the field of powder technology, especially in technical ceramics


• Excellent knowledge of the ceramics manufacturing processes


• Mastery and use of Design of Experiments (DOE) tools


• Strong project management skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships in a production
  environment


• Ability to use CAD/CAM softwares is an advantage


• Proficiency in English, good knowledge of German is an advantage. Basic level of French is a must


• Hands-on approach, pragmatic, rigorous, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


• Very good listening and communication skills


• You are proactive and bring innovative solutions within the corporate strategy
