Technician Operations Services (m/f) provides the repair and technical assistance for the TRAXX locomotive type of rolling stock at the customer's site, identifies and rectifies faults while respecting the safety rules. Furthermore, you analyze the information and ensure that the necessary corrective measures are taken. You also start
preventive actions.
Your tasks
- Ensuring the availability of the rolling stock through telephone permanence
- Identifying and rectifying faults in accordance with the safety regulations
- Guaranteeing and optimizing the execution of the interventions by means of self-checking and functionaltesting if necessary
- Analyzing the information and carrying out the necessary corrective measures
- Performing administrative tasks (ordering parts, drawing up an intervention report, organizing the daily tasks in consultation with our customers)
Qualifications
- Engineering and Maintenance, Networks and Telecommunication
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in testing, commissioning or troubleshooting of railway vehicles, maintenance of special machines
- You also have the necessary knowledge of electricity, air conditioning, pneumatics or hydraulics.
- General IT skills: Microsoft Office – word, excel
- Have the necessary certificates to work with high voltage
- Business trips are to be expected
- Autonomy, customer friendliness, inquisitiveness and sense of initiative are essential
- Fluency in Dutch and English required, German and/or French is considered a plus
