The impact you can have 


At SonarSource we have a dedicated People & Culture team, looking after both hiring and the entire employee journey. Today we are a team composed of 1 Recruiter Geek and 3 P&C Gardeners. And, we are creating a new position to help us go further: we want to hire a Recruitment Lead who will drive the hiring function globally to ensure operational excellence and effectiveness. We expect this person to have a major impact in bringing a strategic recruitment approach while we grow. Ideally this person is based in our Geneva offices, which has approx. 70+ SonarSourcers today.


On a daily basis, you will



  • Lead the recruitment strategy for SonarSource while we grow (location strategy included)

  • Help define people needs with the teams, in alignment with the CEO and Management Team and lead workforce planning

  • Further build the Hiring function and recruit for the team as appropriate (e.g. Recruiter, Sourcer, employer Branding Manager as per needed)

  • Manage our employer branding

  • Train and support Hiring Managers

  • Manage the recruitment operations with the team and notably:
    Define and refine recruitment processes
    Choose the best approach to fulfill needs
    Streamline the process to gain efficiency


The skills you will demonstrate



  • Substantial experience in leading a hiring function into a fast growing company

  • Knowledge of a range of recruitment specialisms including: resource planning, recruitment best practices, sourcing approaches, employer branding strategy

  • Experience in global candidate search, and software industry market is an asset

  • Strong team player and leadership skills

  • High level of energy and passion for recruitment matters

  • Good use of active listening

  • Strong adaptation skills to be able to act, adjust and deliver excellence throughout the company high growth.
