If you answered yes to any of the above we are offering a fantastic opportunity based in the centre of Zurich to sales and business development professionals to join us, the world's leading international health care, medical assistance and security risk services company. 


In our Business Development Manager roles, we are looking for someone to achieve and exceed gross profit targets by sourcing new business in Switzerland, through face-to-face consultative selling and targeting of new business prospects.


Responsibilities include:



  • Identify key clients and promote and sell the entire range of International SOS services including but not limited to:

    • Medical and Security Membership


    • Advisory and Solutions for granting access to western medical care in remote environments (ranging from clinics to onsite medical staffing)


    • Medical & Travel Security Consulting (ranging from pandemic advisory to security evacuation planning)


    • Medical & Security Awareness Trainings, including e-learning based


    • Travel Tracker



  • Understand customer needs, requirements and market trends, identify buying influences and develop contacts at the highest appropriate levels within target clients and prospects


  • Grow and manage a pipeline of opportunities in the CRM system (Salesforce.com)


  • Drive the growth of cross-border sales through proactive international cooperation & coordination with other regions and the Global Accounts team


  • Manage the implementation of new business won, to ensure that all administrative, operational and financial activities are in place to ensure high levels of service to clients



Qualifications



  • Fluent in English and German

  • Proven experience in a sales / business development role with sales and gross profit responsibility and a track record of achievement

  • Direct B2B solution/consultative selling experience in Switzerland

  • Exposure to working in a cross-border engagement sales environment

  • Previous working experience of selling in or to emerging markets is an advantage

  • Prior working experience or demonstrable knowledge of Switzerland is a big advantage
