The responsibilities


Our group is working at understanding how immune responses are regulated and how innate immune responses influence adaptive immune response. For that, we use viruses, virus-like particles and bacteria that have been used to probe the protective capacity of the induced immune responses. We offer insights into our research aiming at creating and developing vaccines for human and animal purposes as well as in understanding basic immunology mechanisms.


Your profile


We are seeking for a highly motivated candidate to manage the laboratory and animal facility in independent responsibility. Main Tasks are ensuring processes, managing materials as well as everything related to the laboratory and animal facility, preparing reagents and database management. The successful candidate has a background as Lab Technician or Lab Manager in a research laboratory and is familiar with immunological techniques including flow cytometry and ELISA. Requirements for the position include an education as Lab Technician and ideally a few years of professional experience in a comparable position. Previous work with mouse models are mandatory (LTK course). Solid communication skills in English are required as the position involves working with an interdisciplinary team of experimental and clinical scientists. The candidate should have a proactive working attitude and the ability to work independently as well as on a team.
