The Analytics unit is dedicated to supporting the transformation of Migros into a data-driven retailer in a concerted effort across the entire Migros-Group.
As part of the Operations department, we identify use cases along the entire retail value chain and develop as well as deploy the resulting data products. Furthermore, we identify synergies in the data landscape providing competitive advantage to all companies that are part of the Migros-Group.
To further accelerate the development of new data products, we are looking for a passionate
Cloud Engineer (f/m/d)
Workload: 80% - 100%
Key responsibilities:
Analysing, troubleshooting and further developing our cloud based applications
Monitoring and optimizing of the existing cloud services
Support of the data science and data engineering teams in the development of cloud solutions
Ensuring that the cloud solutions are highly available, expandable and secure
Ensuring cloud solutions in Migros wide architecture
Your profile:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a quantitative discipline, e.g. Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering
At least 3 years' of solid experience in PaaS, IaaS, CaaS, and SaaS
Good understanding and technical knowledge with cloud technology (e.g. Azure, GCP, Cloud Foundry)
Knowledge of a wide range of technologies such as Java, Spring, Java EE, SQL/NoSQL, Redis, Apache Spark, GitLab (CI/CD), scripting languages (e.g. Linux shell, Python), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and Terraform/Ansible
Fluent in German and English
