Purpose of the Job


As Project Manager within the Diagnostics Program Office, you are part of a team in charge for supporting the CEO Roche Diagnostics, for defining and implementing the divisional strategy and for Market and Competitive Intelligence as well as Strategic Portfolio Management on a divisional level.
 


The Project Manager has a key role in contributing to the Program Office activities by working closely with various key partners in the Program Office and across the entire organisation on a wide range of topics. You will be in charge for analyses and synthesis, translating them into compelling concepts, messages, fact bases and presentations and with that support decision-making and optimize divisional performance. In addition, you will coordinate various activities and analyses and/or lead projects. You will benefit from a broad exposure across various areas of Roche Diagnostics and help to drive highly visible topics.



Main job accountabilities



  • Supporting divisional projects, strategic agenda and the CEO of Roche Diagnostics

  • Contributing to and/or leading projects and their implementation for the Diagnostics division

  • Analyses and synthesis of a wide range of topics; translation of the insights into compelling concepts, messages, fact bases and presentations to inform decision making. Contributing to the various responsibilities and deliverables of the Diagnostics Program Office



Who you are


Requirements



  • Master degree, preferentially in sciences combined with a business degree and MBA required

  • Consulting experience and/or >5 years project manager/leader

  • Profound experience in the Diagnostics sector

  • Ability and proficiency to work with senior executives

  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organization

  • Solution-focused and strong collaborative mentality

  • Work in a fast-paced environment and proven ability to work against ambitious timelines

  • Handle ambiguity, organizational complexity and to think beyond own area

  • Influence without authority

  • Experience in translating data into information and knowledge to make the best-informed business decisions.

  • Previous local market and regional experience

  • Profound project management experience

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate analysis into convincing concepts and presentations

  • Excellent skills to synthesize and translate complex topics into clear and convincing messages

  • Strong strategic and conceptual thinking

  • Strong team player

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Fluent in English)

  • High proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
