Pharmaceutical Sciences (PS) is a global function within Roche Pharma Research and Early Development (pRED) enabling discovery and early development of drug candidates in support of a diverse portfolio of small molecules, complex therapeutic proteins, oligonucleotides and gene therapies.
Within the PS organization, for our Investigative Safety Department in Basel we are currently seeking a motivated Research Associate with a strong drive and dedication to make a difference. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of scientists playing a key role in preclinical safety assessment of cancer therapeutics.
In this position, you will contribute to the development and application of in vitro human cellular models, with focus on the immune compartment; work on the documentation, design, analysis and interpretation of experiments, as well as the presentation of results within a multidisciplinary team environment.
This position is fixed term to 1 year with the possibility of permanent position.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
BSc or MSc in biology or training as a Lab Technician.
Proven practical experience in cell biology or immunology.
At least two years of hands-on experience with flow cytometry.
Willingness to tackle both new and routine tasks.
Scientific curiosity, initiative, commitment and good organization skills.
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
