Services Manager. In this position, you will be responsible to ensure quality, consistent and effective management of Medical Information enquiries and maintain a sound repository of GKID (Global Key Information Documents) for your responsible products. You will report to the Global Head Medical Information. Your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:

• Develop key information documents (KIDs) for the assigned products and ensure all documents are up-to-date, scientifically accurate, fully referenced and compliant with global and as applicable local medical information regulations
  


• Work with Global Medical Information Lead, cross-functional experts and vendors to ensure consistency and high quality of responses to customers globally
  


• Work closely with the Pharmacovigilance department to ensure an ongoing collaboration within their processes (E.g. identification and referral of safety related enquiries)
  


• Manage and administer the medical information system to ensure compliance with Vifor Pharma’s current policies and instructions
  


• Establish and regularly update relevant information sources such as databases, factsheets and other technical information.
  


• Assist in the diligent case entry within the medical information database, assess for market trends specific to Medical Information, generate reports on trend analysis
  


• Foster sound cross-functional, partner and vendor relationships
  


• Manage library or bibliography service for the provision of literature support for Vifor Pharma
  


• Manage the copyright approval process through the Library Services and provide copyright guidance to employees at Vifor Pharma
  


• Support the implementation of customer centric innovations for Medical Information activities.
  


• Be cognizant about changes to medical information regulations

The ideal candidate holds a University degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology or a related field in addition to the following skills and experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Medical Affairs including a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Medical Information, within an affiliate or at HQ level 
  


• Fluent spoken and written English
  


• Demonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate medical scientific literature
  


• Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment
  


• Previous experience in medical writing and database administration is preferred
  


• Basic understanding of Copyright regulations related to scientific publications is preferred

You have outstanding analytical skills and are science-based and patient oriented. You build effective relationships with a variety of external and internal customers – a cross functional leader when required. You act as a role model for others in line with Vifor Pharma values.
