Mission & Objectives
Digitization is a big challenge for many companies and will change processes immensely in the coming years. As a solution and integration architect you are responsible for understanding our client’s landscape and our product family in detail. Your creativity is needed to setup straight forward processes for product integration and coordination of our Swiss Professional Service team in projects with new and existing customers. You will be accountable for supporting the project team in the analysis of customer requirements, for defining and documenting the customer specific solution and integration, design and configuration of EBX software in order to meet the agreed customer requirements.

Key Activities

• Represent Butos in a consultancy role in Professional Service & integration projects


• Design integration and solution architecture and approach with the client depending on the customer landscape


• Coordinate with the business analysts, concept designer and the application integration and development team


• Technical consultancy of the Smart Product Suite and EBX solution


• Configure EBX in line with the documented solution design


• Provide written documentation of the solution and integration architecture


• Analyse customer data needs and propose appropriate EBX configuration solutions


• Support in problem analysis and resolution activities

Skills required

• Technical bachelor or master’s degree


• Experienced in data management as solution and integration architect as consultant


• Experienced in all terms of integration web technologies (REST, SOAP) and ETL


• Experienced in messaging technologies like ESB, JMS, Kafka


• Good understanding and coding ability of Java


• Good communication, analysis, documentation and customer service skills


• Ability to learn on the fly and make quick decisions and recommendations


• Reflect on learnings and provide compelling solutions for improvement


• Fluent communication and writing skills in German and English
