Electronics Design Engineer (80 – 100%)

Schlieren, Switzerland

Your main functions:

• Development of analogue and digital designs of state-of-the-art electronics for sophisticated optoelectronic measurement systems from first idea to serial production


• Implementation of embedded software for data acquisition and pre-processing


• Preparation of the technical documentation for development, supply chain and production purposes


• Close collaboration with an interdisciplinary and international development team, with suppliers and external customers


• Estimation of development and product costs


• Supporting the further improvement of the development processes and the laboratory equipment

Your Profile :

• Proven track record in the design of analogue and digital circuits preferably with OrCAD


• Know-how in simulation and testing of electronic designs


• Several years of experience in the development of embedded SW for ARM-based microcontrollers with C/C++


• Good knowledge of architectures and designs for HW and embedded SW, ideally with real-time requirements


• University degree in technology/science, preferably with a master’s degree in electronics


• Experience in the development of medical or IVD products to ISO13485 standard would be an advantage


• Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English and German


• You enjoy working as part of a team and dealing with customers


• Well-developed quality awareness, responsibility and a high level of commitment
