Indirect Procurement Specialist (facility management and architecture)

At a Glance:


As an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will be working cross functionally with different teams. From the IT team, to Design as well as with our Architects. You need to be very comfortable and skilled at negotiating contracts covering a broad scope of the business. You will be involved in new office projects as well as design and marketing in-going projects.


Your Team:


We work closely as a global team to convert innovative product designs and prototypes into commercialised products, and bring them into the hands of customers. We are focused and data-driven, but are also action-oriented and able to multi-task, we establish and follow processes, but are also continuously challenging the status quo and "industry standard".


Your Mission:



  • Develop and implement an efficient indirect sourcing strategy for On to meet exist and future business objectives

  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key internal stakeholders aimed at identifying, understanding and fulfilling their procurement requirements

  • Define category strategies, Identify cost saving opportunities, facilitate and lead sourcing projects and supplier negotiation and establish and maintain supplier relationships

  • Procurement responsibility / sourcing portfolio covers all Indirects, including real estate projects, facility management including office furniture and fixture, IT & telecommunication equipment, trade marketing tools, consulting and marketing services, etc.

  • Proactively collaborate with business partners to lead and manage RFx processes and contract negotiations; identify key benchmarks to measure and monitor contractual arrangements and supplier performances

  • Prepare analysis of spending data, categorise supplier base and cost modelsManage complex projects from conception through implementation, including change management


Your Story:



  • 5-10 years of sourcing experience, ideally in a wide range of indirect categories; a strong background in real estate and office facility management and furniture procurement is preferred

  • Super entrepreneurial, flexible and nimble, and are able to achieve a lot with limited resources

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiating skills, with a strong presence and ability to influence stakeholders across seniority

  • Self-directed and able to work independently, but you also work well along others in a fast paced environment

  • Proven project management and process improvement experience
