Payroll Coordinator (80%/100%)
Your future role?
As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be based in Vernier joining our HR department and you will directly report to the Payroll Manager. You will be in charge of preparing the monthly payroll for all Swiss legal entities of Givaudan.
In this exciting role you will assist the payroll activities for our employees based in Switzerland. You will provide support and advice to HR Management and Finance. In absence of the Payroll Manager you will be the backup for the end-to-end payroll process.

In this exciting opportunity you will be in charge of the following responsibilities:
Payroll Preparation: You will enter all variables in our payroll system (shift allowances, hourly workers, insurance, reimbursement, advances) and fixed allowances (family allowances, shift premiums, garnishments, tax modifications); You will check and communicate all entries including new Hires and Departures to the pension fund provider; You will also control and upload mass payroll interface data: e.g. pension contribution, vacation; You will prepare the calculation of salaries, overtime payments, benefits, taxes and payroll deductions, shift payments, sales commissions, and bonuses; It is also required to check and audit timekeeping records for compliance with established standards; Moreover, you will check new hires into the payroll system, update changes in pay and tax status respecting approval process; Last but not least, you will assist the Payroll Manager on yearly compensation activities (ASR, bonus payout)
Reporting: You will assist the Payroll Manager on year end payroll activities (tax report, AVS report, salary certificate); You will gather information and coordinate audit preparation; You will also prepare reports for management.
HR Management Suppor: Basically, you will answer questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters through our ticketing system; With guidance, you will ensure compliance with our policies and our procedures, employee contracts and government legislation.
Other responsibilities: Under guidance, you will ensure child allowance ad-ministration; You will help with our payroll system HR Support: You will be in charge of system update tests, legal changes and manage technical change requests (new payroll rules, wage type creation); In general you will be the Back-up of our Payroll Manager; We are providing a continuous improvement mindset, that's why you will contribute with our Payroll Manager in several payroll project (new legal entity, new technology).
