As a Sales Excellence and Commercial Training Manager, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with LafargeHolcim country organizations worldwide in executing the global growth strategy, by supporting the local teams in embedding the right sales practices, processes and tools.


Responsibilities



  • Assess and define, together with LafargeHolcim’s country organisations, the desired end-state for sales capabilities, processes and tools (B2B and B2C)

  • Constructively challenge the sales force management practices and support countries to deploy improvement actions for short & mid-term

  • Co-develop frameworks to define and assess sales/commercial competencies and provide guidance and support for training and development activities

  • Hands on sales training to support countries with sales capability development programs and workshops

  • Conduct Sales Performance Management programs to support sales leaders in developing key management, coaching and leadership competencies

  • Manage in-country Sales Excellence projects in the areas of Sales Organisation, Performance Management (e.g. sales incentive schemes) or Customer Management

  • Promote and contribute to the global Sales Excellence Community of Practice and foster global sharing and collaboration


Education/Qualifications



  • University degree, preferably Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or similar


Experience



  • Min. 5 years of operational experience in sales in B2B and B2C environment

  • Preferably a track record of training sales in commercial competencies (e.g. selling skills, price and margin management, marketing, etc)

  • Extensive experience in applying measures to improve sales force effectiveness (e.g. value-based selling, sales performance management, account planning, territory planning, margin optimization, customer prioritization, use of CRM, etc.)

  • Proven track record of delivering excellent results.


Knowledge & Skills



  • Very good interpersonal and collaboration skills; capability to build credibility at all management levels

  • Ability to influence without authority, engage and inspire people

  • Excellent presentation skills, written & spoken communication; comfortable speaking in public.
    Adaptable, creative and resourceful, with a "can do" attitude

  • Very good analytical skills (e.g. for tasks like analyzing sales performance, creating complex case studies, reviewing/ designing sales incentive schemes, etc)
