Are you ready to start your actuarial career? In this technical role, you will join our growing team of life reinsurance professionals based in Zurich. You will gain market experience by working closely with our life underwriters who write life reinsurance business in all lines of business worldwide.

Your responsibility

• Support the development, maintenance and improvement of pricing tools and methodologies required for pricing life reinsurance including the corresponding documentation


• Active involvement in the development of pricing bases for target markets and product lines


• Detailed pricing of proportional and non-proportional life reinsurance solutions, including experience analysis, development of best estimates and cash flow modelling


• Preparation of actuarial reports presenting data analyses, applied assumptions and pricing conclusions


• Support our life underwriters in responding to client and broker requests for proposals

Your qualification

• Master or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative subject


• Ideally, you passed the first exams for the actuarial qualification


• Hands-on experience with multiple programming languages such as VBA and R


• Strong analytical skills


• Fluent in English and either Spanish or French
