Zurich’s Group Customer Office is playing a pivotal role on that journey and is involved in a broad range of activities - working with all our regions and markets across the globe to shape the customer agenda. To support this effort, we are looking for a passionate, data-driven, and experienced Customer Concept & Campaign Research Expert to join our Customer, Market & Brand Insights team. In this role, you will be driving innovation and customer focus through research programs for global projects. The candidate’s main responsibility is support the organization during the development of product concepts from an early stage to market introduction with appropriate customer insights projects, reporting to the Head of Customer Concept & Campaign Research.
Your Role
As the Customer Concept & Campaign Research Expert you will
Support the set-up of an impactful innovation process through effective and agile research
Plan, lead and conduct global research projects to assess customers’ or intermediaries’ perception of new ideas, concepts and campaigns
Consult the organization with fact-based recommendations, driving Zurich’s customer focused agenda
Translate analytic insights into concrete actionable recommendations, drawing conclusions for business improvement and influencing strategy effectively
Present insights to wider organization, including senior management
Manage external research agencies and budgets
Work with Procurement department to negotiate effectively with external agencies
Keep up with best practice in the field and transfer relevant topics into Zurich’s programs
Work location is Zurich with travel potentially required up to 10%
Required Skills and Experience
As a Customer Concept & Campaign Research Expert your skills and qualifications will include:
6+ years of experience in customer/consumer research, either on client or agency side
Strong analytical and technical skills in a wide variety of research methodologies, tools and processes
Solution driven mindset - you are able to take a business objective and translate it into concrete research steps
A team-oriented person and a strong communicator able to work across different departments in the organization
Experience in working independently and owning initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders from start to finish
Bachelor degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing or a related field
Be able to cope with change in a fast-moving environment with varying workloads and pressures
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Business language is English
Strong commercial acumen
