If you have expertise in providing medical insights to drive strategic decision-making and would like to be considered a trusted scientific collaborator, AstraZeneca may be where you could apply your expertise to make an impact in a company that follows the science and turns ideas into life changing medicines!
At AstraZeneca, we’re not afraid to do things differently. We’re resetting expectations of what a bio-pharmaceutical company can be. This means we’re opening up new ways to work, pioneering cutting edge methods and bringing unexpected teams together. We pride ourselves on making sure that each decision we make puts patient needs first. This approach means that our people have permission to take the more unusual path. If they can think of a better, smarter way in which we can change lives through science, we want to hear it.

You will be responsible for translating the Business Unit (BU) strategy into country-specific tactics and tools and implementing them together with the Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) team within the assigned therapeutic area (TA). You will also be translating, processing and providing medical field information, study information and other country-specific information to the Medical Affairs Therapeutic Area Lead and BU partner.
You will need to stay on top of medical and scientific knowledge and continuously update your knowledge of products, compounds in development and clinical activities within the TA as well as raise the general disease awareness and identify patient treatment trends and needs for current and future indications. You will therefore be a scientific specialist, a trusted counterpart and collaborative partner generating and leading activities to shape the treatment landscape for optimisation of patient outcomes.
