Your responsibilities



  • Develop the layout concept for boiler and grate of a waste-to-energy plant

  • Create, update and check various plans such as layout, load, construction data, steel construction, platforms, piping and component drawings

  • Design and implement planning principles such as planning corridors, safety requirements, functionality, logistics, ease of assembly, modular design (containers, modules, skids) as well as ease of operation and maintenance

  • Collaborate in a project team and coordinate customers, consortium partners and suppliers

  • Incorporate and check of installation and component drawings from external and internal suppliers

  • Coordinate with the assembly department regarding the insertion of components

  • Ensure the exchange of all required layout data with customers, consortium partners and suppliers


Your experiences



  • Completed technical apprenticeship/training as a design engineer, plant construction or mechanical engineering

  • Knowledge of layout planning, initial experience in boiler, combustion grate and steel construction would be an advantage

  • Sound knowledge of 3D planning tools (preferably E3D, 2D, Autocad) and good MS-Office user skills

  • Planning and organizational skills

  • Highly motivated and flexible personality with good team, planning and organizational skills

  • Good communication skills in German and English (w/s)

  • Willingness to travel approx. 5%
