Our Technical Operations (Tech Ops) team is growing and in this newly created position we are searching for a Head of Technical Operations Strategy, responsible for setting up a Project Management Office and driving Operational Excellence, innovation and digitalisation across the Tech Ops organisation. You will lead a small team and report to the Head of Technical Operations. Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Responsible for the execution of the Tech Ops Strategy in collaboration with the Head Tech Ops 


• Manage Tech Ops Strategic Initiatives and respective reporting to Head Tech Ops and Chief Financial Officer / Executive Committee


• Define, lead and execute the Tech Ops Footprint and New Product Introduction Strategy


• Responsible and accountable for the Tech Ops Operational Excellence/Lean Six Sigma Strategy and initiatives


• Define, lead and implement the Tech Ops strategy and respective innovation initiatives


• Responsible and accountable for the Tech Ops KPI Dashboard and Reporting


• Responsible and accountable for the Tech Ops Portfolio Management


• Define and lead the overall Tech Ops Governance


• Manage and coordinate communication across the Tech Ops network


• Lead and coordinate the annual Tech Op budgeting process, including acting as key point of contact for Finance


• Responsible and accountable for the talent management within Tech Ops Strategy

The ideal candidate has a degree  natural Science, Engineering or Manufacturing, as well a Black Belt certification, in addition to the following skills and experience:

• 8-10 years’ experience in supply chain within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical devices industry


• Minimum of 5 years‘ experience in Tech Ops Transformation or strategic Tech Ops Portfolio Management


• Proven track record in Operational Excellence/Lean Six Sigma process implementation and continuous improvement initiatives 


• Excellent Program & Portfolio Management experience


• Experience working with senior management/C-level


• Proven track record Business Analytics

You understand issues from multiple perspectives and successfully resolve issues. You act as a role model for the Vifor Pharma values.
