• A challenging role as Solution Architect and Lead Engineer in the Online & Mobile Banking domain. Join an existing team of engineers and take responsibility for the architecture of all owned modules and components.


• Work with modern technology stack in a complex environment with a motivated, cross-cultural team.


• Design and build complex application components aligned with Enterprise Architecture and Business priorities.


• Support your team with reviews as well as hands-on coding.


• Influence and drive future technology roadmaps.


• Orchestrate the technical delivery of down-stream systems respectively other development teams.


• Opportunity to interact with various stakeholders of different seniority levels and backgrounds; exposure to different banking functionalities/products and underlying technical solutions.


• Take additional responsibility, such as growing/coaching software developers, join/lead an engineering community of practice etc.

You Offer

 

• A solid education in Technology/Engineering.


• Proficiency with our technology stack, including: Enterprise JAVA (JEE); JAVA Script/Angular; Spring Boot; OpenShift; Struts etc.


• More than eight years of relevant working experience in IT/Software Development, preferably within the financial industry.


• More than five years of experience in similar role of Solution Architect/Lead Engineer with hands-on coding and code review experience.


• Capable of leading engineering topics within assigned area and coaching/guiding other software developers.


• Ability to craft strategically aligned and generic/scalable solutions for large applications, understanding their dependencies and complexity.


• Ability to transform and apply Enterprise Architecture requirements to technology roadmaps of our applications.


• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders on IT and Business side for technology topics. English is a must, German considered as strong advantage.


• Understanding of agile Delivery Models, such as SCRUM and SAFe.


• Hands-on experience in Mobile Development (iOS and Android) and knowledge about banking and the financial industry is a plus!
