Thank you for your interest in working with us at Eyeware!

We are expanding our core software team and we are looking for an excellent Software Engineer with affinity for computer vision and machine learning.

A key objective of your role is to work into developing efficient and robust implementations of our core algorithms and SDK.

Other objectives address the need of porting our software to multiple hardware platforms, thus managing cross-platform toolchains will be important. You will also need to employ scalable software development skills, in terms of appropriate design, and efficient implementations for managing well the available computational resources.

This position is full-time and requires office presence in Martigny, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Translate implementations into C++, mainly from python


• Develop unit tests and data based benchmarks


• Work with hardware accelerators like GPUs, DSPs or AI-units.


• Understand and implement computer vision and machine learning algorithms


• Optimize key components on our tracking algorithms


• Contribute to the development of customer use cases


• Collaborate with our research and product development teams

Requirements

• BSc degree in computer science, mathematics or related fields


• Excellent C/C++ and python programming skills


• Capacity to adapt and refactor complex algorithms


• Good understanding in operating systems (esp. Unix) and hardware architecture


• To be willing to learn, pragmatic, actionable, motivated and with a strong team spirit


• Fluent spoken and written English

Nice-to-have

• 2+ years of proven work experience


• Experience in computer vision, machine learning or computer graphics


• Experience in agile, TDD, unit testing, documentation


• Experience with embedded devices and/or GPU programming frameworks (CUDA, OpenCL)

• Remote work is accepted from a base in EU or Switzerland. However, relocating to Martigny is a plus.

Compensation

Salary: CHF 70’000 - 90’000 /year
