We are looking for highly motivated Senior Security and System Engineers to complete our teams in Zurich areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of hardware, software and applications and react professionally and efficiently to disruptions


• Handle change requests, security patches and lifecycle projects


• Support and define architectures for platform projects that are technically and economically feasible


• Configure and install software and hardware components, compile the necessary documentation and distribute it


• Develop or support software solutions for the integration of the components used


• Responsible for the installation, configuration and support of our Unix/Linux server in several complex and heterogeneous security platforms

Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor degree in Technology/Computer Science or several years of experience in the IT environment


• Good knowledge in German and English


• In-depth knowledge of IT security, architecture and network technologies


• Expertise in load balancers, proxies and other access control devices are a further advantage


• Several years of Unix/Linux experience and high level competence in Security Services (PKI, HSM)


• Familiar with script programming (Bash, Perl or Python)


• Ideally experience in maintenance and operation of standard applications (e.g. Apache/Tomcat, MySQL, LDAP)


• Understanding of distribution, automation and configuration management in larger environments (> 400 servers, 500 devices in the network)


• Standby service for 3rd level support
