Mission


As a Product Manager within the Customer Engagement (CE) Network of the Pharma Informatics CrossPharma Informatics (xPIX) Organisation you take a conceptual lead to achieve our mission of providing a high-class analytics and insights environment determined to boost Roche’s capabilities to create a real actionable understanding of our customers and enable customer engagement  ‘personalisation at scale’.


As a main part of the role, you will take the lead in designing and conceptualising the analytical landscape as part of the customer engagement program “EpiCX”. You will partner with stakeholders across our business on the key aspects for the program’s successful delivery in driving the strategic transformation of our analytics and insights ecosystems using state-of-the-art technologies and cloud-based platforms.


You will work closely with the EpiCX stream leads across Pharma, not only in Pharma Informatics. By collaborating with other influencers and decision-makers across the analytics domain you are connecting inside and outside views, fostering a culture of sharing and learning. Reaching out to the aspects of data science and advanced insights capabilities, you are connecting EpiCX to the Roche vision of being the leader in living true data-driven business models and result generation, as well as anticipating upcoming healthcare business models with customers and patients.


What you’ll be working on



  • Account and own the analytics and insights domain conceptually within the xPIX organisation and its CE network


  • Lead conceptually the domain of data and analytics within the EpiCX program


  • Drive the transformation of our analytical ecosystems towards cloud-based capabilities


  • Engage across our business on new opportunities provided through the program or other major initiatives


  • Partner with senior stakeholders in creating and maintaining the analytics roadmap and portfolio


  • Build strong business relationships and provide a responsive and pragmatic 'face to the business' approach for all life cycle topics in analytics and insights


  • Collaborate with informatics and analytics colleagues to shape and evolve our commercial analytics and insights roadmap


  • Support the IT network and program leadership teams by bringing state-of-the art analytics concepts and design concepts


  • Define future needs, skills, capacity and sourcing of provisioning the analytics service


  • Stay abreast of the overall data and insights activities w/in Roche


  • Ensure best practices, processes and execution models in solution design


  • Recommend strategies and solutions to enable a modern and scalable analytics solution and system architecture


  • Support the EpiCX program stream leads to manage strategic vendor and supplier relationships



 


Location: preferred location is Kaiseraugst.

The ideal candidate



  • Has deep understanding of the commercial analytics and insights business domain


  • Has 10+ years of experience in the analytics and insights domain


  • Have a proven track record in shifting analytical solutions to cloud-based technologies


  • Brings significant conceptual skills and knowledge across a variety of analytical use cases from global functions and affiliates  


  • Lives the spirits of an agile innovative culture


  • Shares the passion for data and insights as a true asset 


  • Gets excited about great customer experience


  • Likes to orchestrates relationships to business colleagues, IT partners, suppliers and vendors


  • Understands and knows the analytics market and industry trends as well as best practices 


  • MBA in data science, statistics, advanced analytical techniques in science or business management is a plus
