Responsibilities


LafargeHolcim is looking for an intern for a period of 12 months at the group headquarters in Holderbank AG. The objective of this internship being to support the improvement of the environmental performance of the group, with the following focus actions:



  • Management of certification systems (ISO 14001 / 50001, Leed, BREEAM, etc.),

  • Management of environmental data (different platforms, dashboards),

  • Design and implementation of initiatives on air emissions, water and waste reduction,

  • Collaboration with group experts and sites’ personnel for the execution of environmental projects.


Education/Qualifications



  • Post bachelor’s degree (MSc, MA, PhD) in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related science


Experience



  • 3+ years managing environmental programs (management systems, compliance) for large organizations, preferably in the construction materials industry


Knowledge & Skills



  • Knowledge of management systems certification frameworks

  • Knowledge of international legislative frameworks on environment

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills

  • Performance-oriented, able to identify and execute quickly on request and foresee potential opportunities for improvement


Language Requirements

Full proficiency in English, French and German as optional

Travel Requirements

up to 25%
