E2E network performance engineer

We are looking for a senior E2E network performance engineer not afraid of complex E2E issues needing detailed investigation and cooperation with the rest of the engineering teams in order to fix them.


Your duties



  • Define, implement and own the E2E network tool landscape.

  • Develop dashboards in existing tools and scripts to process big volumes of data in order to increase the speed at which issues are detected and solved.

  • Troubleshoot and fix complex multivendor E2E issues.

  • Process and analyse radio and wireshark traces.

  • Be one of the main contributors to improve Salt results in Connect yearly benchmarks.

  • Knowledge transfer within the team for all core network domains (Fix, Mobile CS, Mobile PS)


What you bring



  • Degree in telecommunications or equivalent

  • Expert in mobile core network with at least five years’ experience

  • In depth knowledge of standard internet protocol suite (TCP/IP).

  • In depth knowledge of E2E call flows for voice and data calls.

  • In depth knowledge of 3GPP protocols: Core network CS, PS and IMS domains e.g. SS7, MAP, GTP, Diameter, SIP/RTP/RTCP etc.

  • Mastery of Wireshark, network probes, internal network element traces, and radio log analysis tools (TEMS or Nemo).

  • Very good radio knowledge is required.

  • Able to create scripts and automate file processing for big data mining,

  • Knowledge in voice quality troubleshooting and improvement is a plus.

  • Experience with Nokia products is a plus

  • Good analytical and abstract thinking skills: Able to find innovative solutions to complex problems. Team worker. Willing to make a contribution and to make a difference. Does not give up until the issue is fixed.

  • Self-learner, Self-driven, Self-motivated.

  • Good presentation & communication.

  • Easily approachable, friendly, & proactive in identifying areas for improvement.

  • Required languages : English, other languages are welcome
