Digital Solutions Intern Whom we’re looking for: • Enrolled active student pursuing a degree in Operations, Industrial engineering (with focus on process optimization), Information systems, Mathematical Statistics, or similar area • Highly skilled in Statistical and Data modeling with experience using Excel and other modelling tools; • Highly skilled in visualization and reporting of model results on PowerBI and other visualization tools • Good communication skills; able to translate quantitative results into business insights • Self-driven and independent mindset • Customer-oriented and problem-solving mind • Fluent in both written and spoken English You will join the Digital and Analytics within Operations Strategy and Results Delivery Team in Lausanne, Switzerland and work in close collaboration with PMI central function teams and PMI technology vendors to assist in end-to-end use and validation of optimization technology in PMI business processes. As an intern, we count on you to achieve these following tasks: • Create demos of optimization scenarios that will allow for easier interpretation of full optimization models by PMI users • Create visuals and reports that will assist PMI users comprehend outputs of optimization models and identify root causes of model results • Assess consistency and quality of inputs/outputs of optimization models and propose corrective actions at the input-process-output level • Keep and track backlog of issues for improving optimization models: exceptions, data quality, reporting, output validation, and others • Create forecasting and regression models to illustrate proof of concept • Identify, create and land digital solutions and digital projects What we offer Be a part of a revolutionary change.
