Business Controller

 

Location: UK HQ/ Geneva

(The successful candidate shall have to be residing within one of the Watchfinder locations for local tax & labour laws within the region.)

 

This is a brand-new role for our newly created FP&A team at Watchfinder. We are currently seeking a finance professional to lead & drive the business analysis with different headquarter departments & International markets. 

 

Your key objective is to support strategic decision making with insightful financial analysis and prompt reporting on business KPI's. You also support the budget/forecast process and business controls which are critical to Watchfinder's global business development. 

 

How will you make an Impact? 

• Develop business analysis in partnership with HQ Department Heads and Country Managers to support strategic planning & initiatives


• Support planning process (budget, latest estimates, rolling forecast), ensure timely & accurate submission of deliverables 


• Pro-active financial review on P&L/balance sheet vs plan to ensure the quality and integrity of the financial data


• Assist rollout of financial projects and initiatives according to Maison direction 


• Maintain the controlling environment of each department and markets (KPI's, reports, audit controls etc.) 

 

How will you experience success with us?

 

• Ideally, you shall be degree qualified, preferably business, Accounting or Finance


• You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in FP&A/Controlling functions, preferable in a luxury retail/online retail industry at international level 


• Experience with financial management on digital performance marketing will be an advantage 


• You're an effective communicator, with the ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across HQ and international Entities


• You will be an Excel whizz and have strong experience with SAP (FICO, MMPO, IM Module) 


• You love to use data/BI tools and have experience with VBA and MS Access 


• You're a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and have the flexibility to liaise with different time zones when required


• Strong international business acumen and common sense


• Familiar with corporate rolling forecast and budget process
