We are currently looking for a Drug Safety Associate Contract Management to join our Global Drug Safety and Risk Management Team in Switzerland. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Head Drug Safety Contract Management. You will be responsible for the efficient and on time conclusion of new Safety Data Exchange Agreements (SDEAs) as well as the efficient review and update of existing SDEAs between Vifor International and Vifor affiliates and/or commercial partners. Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage conclusion of SDEAs with Affiliates and Partners


• Maintain oversight and tracking of all SDEAs


• Maintain corresponding SOPs


• Manage conclusion of other Drug Safety Department agreements


• Support the Legal Department with providing or reviewing drug safety relevant provisions of agreements and to keep the company contract management system up-to-date


• Ensure that all commercial agreements are covered by SDEAs if applicable


• Act as contract management subject matter expert in audits and inspections

The ideal candidate has a paralegal qualification or (Bachelor) degree in Business Administration, Law or Science and in addition brings the following profile:

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in contract management and/or 1-2 years of experience in management of SDEAs, clinical trial agreements, quality agreements or similar specialist pharmaceutical or medical device industry agreements


• Demonstrated experience in most areas pertaining to Pharmacovigilance 


• Excellent user of MS Office tools 


• Fluency in English and one other language (preferably German or French)

You are able to communicate details clearly and accurately, both orally and in writing. You are able to perform all tasks in fluent English and have excellent negotiation skills. You have excellent organisational and time management skills allowing you to effectively plan and prioritise workload. You take a thorough approach, with high attention to detail and with an accurate sense of urgency in completing tasks and delivering in a timely manner. You are interpersonally aware and culturally sensitive, with the ability to work in highly networked organisations with many partners, which allows you to work with a wide variety of personnel at different levels within the company and demonstrate a service oriented, proactive approach to all activities. You are able to interpret and apply global drug safety regulations.
