ICS Inter-Community School Zurich is looking for sports coaches for a variety of after- school sports activities. Please be advised, this is a part-time role for 2-3 hours per week. It is best suited to students or for candidates looking to gain extra coaching experience with a flexible schedule. It also requires occasional weekend commitments for tournaments. This role is not a PE Teacher role.
Responsibilities
Accompany practices and tournaments (sometimes weekends) for the following sports:
Autumn:
Football/Soccer (middle and high school; boys and girls)
Swimming (please be advised that for swimming, practices are before school 7-8am)
Winter:
Basketball (middle and high school; boys and girls)
Swimming (primary, middle and high school; boys and girls)
Requirements
Experience coaching in one the sports listed
Some basic coaching qualifications
Work well with children in a sport and school setting
Be organized for practices and games
A coaching philosophy that fits into an educational setting
Work well and cooperatively with other coaches
Terms and conditions
This position is normally an after school activity. It includes 2-3 practices during the week (before or after school) and games on the weekends.
