Job Responsibilities



  • Contribute to the discovery of novel drugs within a multidisciplinary team

  • Responsible for in vivo pharmacology in multiple oncology research and development project teams

  • Design and direct animal studies to test hypotheses and address project-related questions

  • Closely interact with researchers from other disciplines and manage collaborations with CROs and/or academic partners

  • Evaluate, interpret and present scientific data to different audiences, defending results and taking responsibility

  • Write experimental protocols, scientific reports and contribute to regulatory documents of novel drug candidates

  • Maintain state of the art expertise in the field of oncology and implement new in vivo models and technologies

  • Contribute to new target proposals and evaluation/validation

  • Challenge status quo of projects, processes and own behavior and seek for continuous improvement

  • Lead, coach and develop members of the laboratory


 


Candidate’s Requirements 



  • PhD degree and a minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Drug Discovery is advantageous

  • Strong background in cancer biology with a proven scientific track record

  • Knowledge and practical skills in the field of immune-oncology and/or radiation oncology is considered a strong plus

  • Several years of hands-on experience with different mouse tumor models

  • Excellent English (spoken and written)

  • Good communication and networking skills, flexible and proactive mindset
