Job Description


In this challenging and dynamic role reporting to the Global Head of Ethics & Compliance, the HCP & Patient Interactions Lead will have responsibility for overseeing and managing ongoing adherence to the company’s Global Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, oversight of the company’s global transparency requirements and the development and global roll out of relevant requirements and guidelines covering interactions with patients and patient organizations.  


Job Responsibilities



  • Ensure continuing adherence to Galderma’s Global Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals (“HCP Code”) across the organization, including the planning for, and execution of, relevant and effective e-training(s) and the roll out of extensive live training and related communications

  • Working with key stakeholders, including country affiliates, Global Risk and Global Monitoring & Reporting (within Global Ethics & Compliance) and Internal Audit, continuously assess the ongoing effectiveness of compliance with the HCP Code across Galderma

  • Serve as the global contact point for the HCPs, HCOs and Patient Organizations and, liaising with the relevant regions, develop relevant additional organization-wide guidance and trainings, as needed

  • Serve as the global contact point for the company’s global transparency requirements, working with key stakeholders across the organization, including within the Global Ethics & Compliance group, and ensuring where relevant an aligned and consistent organization-wide approach

  • Develop good knowledge of, and effective working relationships with, countries/affiliates, working closely with and through the Regional Compliance Leads and other member(s) of Galderma’s Legal function to ensure seamless and consistent compliance support

  • Monitor the regulatory and broader compliance environment, to determine the potential impact of regulatory changes on the compliance programs as it affects designated areas of focus and drive necessary changes to relevant compliance policies and processes

  • Provide status updates to leadership, including the Global Head, Ethics & Compliance and the company’s General Counsel on areas supported and implement action plans as necessary to address performance gaps


 


Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree required; JD or international equivalent preferred

  • 6+ years of relevant compliance experience in a life sciences company with knowledge and understanding of healthcare compliance and the applicable legal and regulatory framework including the FCPA and UK Bribery Act

  • Experience advising on digital activities strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated experience working with a multi-jurisdictional global compliance program

  • Experience successfully identifying and resolving compliance issues quickly and effectively

  • Ability to work in partnership with business colleagues to implement effective compliance programs alongside business objectives

  • Solution-oriented thinking, flexible and with a hands-on mentality

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise guidance and instructions

  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with personnel at all organizational levels and contributing to a team

  • Cultural sensitivity, self-motivated and used to working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
