At DECTRIS, academic research meets agile industry practices. The company’s roots are deep in the scientific community and our scientists publish new research results every year. At the same time, our engineers, technicians, administrators, and commercial experts work hard to make sure our customers benefit from the latest technologies without delay.

Physicist for test- and calibration methods in production

Your Tasks

  • You will closely collaborate with the Dectris R&D groups in the development and optimization of novel calibration and test procedures for our X-ray and EM detectors. You will be involved in the analysis and improvement of the already implemented processes.

  • Complete tracking of the new products calibration development: from the algorithm definition in the early R&D project phase, up to the final implementation in production. You define test strategies and algorithms to assure a highly stable production of new Dectris detectors within the defined specifications throughout the entire product life cycle.

  • Transfer the R&D tests, algorithms and processes into the production phase. Define the metrology strategy to monitor the production processes (by means of e.g. DoE, SPC)

Your Skills
