As part of the Pictet Wealth Management Investment Platform, you will join our Portfolio Structuring Team in Geneva and will focus on discretionary portfolio management strategies. In this position, you will contribute to the portfolio construction, risk supervision and structuring of discretionary single- and multi-asset mandates and solutions.
• Act as a first line of defence in the portfolio construction and risk supervision of existing discretionary portfolio management solutions through comprehensive analytical production and support to the portfolio management teams.
• Contribute to investment decision making and implementation by providing quantitative expertise and input to the Investment Platform’s management and portfolio managers, as well as taking part in investment meetings.
• Help in product development and client customisation through the structuring of relevant single- or multi-asset solutions.
• Master’s degree in finance, banking or statistics.
• At least seven years’ experience as a portfolio manager, risk manager or quantitative researcher.
• Postgraduate-type qualification such as CFA, CAIA, FRM or CQF.
• Process-oriented approach, deep analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of financial markets and instruments; expertise in derivatives would be a plus.
• Strong interest in data science, machine learning and sustainable investing would be an asset.
• Focused on the success of the team, communicative, entrepreneurial and independent-minded.
• Team player attitude with excellent communication and writing skills in English and French.
• Strong IT and programming skills (VBA, Python, R), with experience with financial software a plus (APT, Axioma, Style Analytics, MPI).
• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
