We have an exciting new opportunity as an Agile Coach for the Mid Europe Region (MER)


Purpose of the role


You’ll need to shape and deliver the Agile-at-Scale strategy roadmap and steer the Middle East Region (MER) in becoming a Leading Agile Organization.You will need to collaborate on the creation and evolution of the Agile transformation roadmap and take ownership of driving activities across the organization. You will need to support the development and monitoring of Agile adoption/maturity metrics to aid in accelerating overall Agile transformation efforts and to gauge the maturity progress of new and existing teams. You advance best practices for scaling and optimizing Agile Ways of Working (WoW) and Agile discipline. You will need to develop training materials and deliver it across the organization as part of an integrated learning and transformation journey.


Primary responsibilities


Agile Community:



  • Lead the Agile CoP to guide Agile delivery teams, their coaches, stakeholders and leaders, to establish the mindset and practices needed to transform MER



Agile Capabilities:



  • Defines and ensures consistent agile standards and practices in alignment with the MER Value Board & Global Commercial Excellence teams


  • Develops training materials, facilitates learning, provides coaching, act as Scrum Master and may at times fill various other related roles, e.g. Scrum-of-Scrum; onboarding of new team members



Agile Maturity & Scale-Agile Framework:



  • Develops and tracks agile adoption/maturity metrics to aid in accelerating the overall Agile transformation


  • Establish a taxonomy of teams to clearly define goals and state how each team needs to contribute to the achievement of those goals to maximize collaboration between process teams and customer experience teams


  • Scale agile practices by advancing emerging solutions & best practices throughout MER, including regular health-checks [staffing / collaboration / agile discipline / scrum / Kanban / integrated backlogs]



Your profile



  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent training and/or equivalent experience


  • 8+ years Agile Coaching experience (ability to coach multiple teams on Agile, Scrum & Kanban)


  • A track record of leadership in Agile transformation in large organizations


  • Proven knowledge of the application of Agile at scale and demonstrated ability to coach and lead the cultural and organizational change to make it work


  • Passionate about helping teams realize their full potential by coaching and enabling the organization to deliver outstanding product as fast as possible while having fun


  • The ability to coach, mentor and teach teams, and able to work closely with senior management to advance agility at the enterprise level and to systematically drive agile-at-scale.


  • Passionate about coaching a team of professionals who love collaboration, learning and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies & solutions.


  • Cares about employees and fosters an environment of servant-leadership in which they can thrive by providing them the Agile tools and Agile training necessary to get the job done

  • Position requires approximately 25% travel.


  • Position is preferably based in Switzerland
