We are recruiting a Franchise Lead Haematology


In this role you will manage the correct implementation of the marketing strategy and the brand plans. You will lead and develop the sales and marketing teams to build a strong cross-functional KAM mindset and to ensure an optimal positioning of our products in the market, to ultimately improve the quality of life of patients.


Your main tasks


Team leadership and development



  • You will launch new indications and manage existing products in our haematology portfolio according to the AZ way of marketing implementation.

  • You will manage strategy and activities for your product and work very closely with the departments of regulatory affairs, market access, medical, diagnostics and sales.

  • You will develop marketing concepts and operational action plans (brand plans) and ensure that they are implemented.

  • You are responsible for the annual budgeting (costs and sales) of our haematology portfolio and monitor these goals on an ongoing basis.

  • In cooperation with the brand team, you will create promotional materials for the haematology portfolioa

  • You are the main point of contact for other countries and the international team for the distribution of their product portfolio.

  • You are constantly informed about market conditions and incorporate them into your planning.

  • You work closely with the sales force and are also responsible for its product-related marketing training.

  • You will maintain contacts with opinion leaders and to represent our company at international and national congresses.

  • You coach, motivate and support your Key Account Manager Team to ensure excellent in-field execution through Sales Force Effectiveness.

  • You are the lead in ensuring a comprehensive Key Account Management approach is appropriately developed in all regions.

  • You are overall responsible for the territory planning and activities with Customers to support achievement of your sales targets nationally and regionally.

  • You give field and competitive intelligence input to the Marketing team to help to define the marketing strategy.

  • You enjoy cultivating contacts with opinion leaders and representing our company at international and national congresses.

  • The position reports directly to the Head of OBU (Oncology Business Unit) Switzerland.


Your profile



  • Scientific educational background.

  • You have profound experience in marketing of pharmaceutical products or Sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry (>8 years) with experience as people manager.

  • You are a strong communicator and like to set a good example as a motivator and team player with excellent presentation skills.

  • You are an innovative, goal-oriented personality with a high level of self-motivation.

  • Ideally you have experience in working in a global pharmaceutical organization and an understanding of the drug development life cycle, commercial as well as market access aspects.

  • Problem solving & solution orientation: Safe handling of complex tasks; Critical and quick thinking; Decision-making ability and goal-orientation.

  • Influencing Skills: Ability to influence multifunctional decisions, senior management as well as colleagues with no direct reporting line.

  • Languages: German and English stylistically confident and good knowledge of French.
