During your internship period at Viasat Lausanne you will be able to learn a lot as part of a team of experienced individuals developing leading edge satellite communications antenna technologies.



After an introduction you will work on dedicated guided tasks with growing independence. With your work contribute to the development of new technologies, new antenna system concepts to be transformed into new products.



The new phased arrays, passive arrays, and reflector-based products for ground based and airborne user terminals will be used in Viasat’s growing global satellite network.



If you have the flexibility to perform in a dynamic work environment, have a strong personal ownership of your work.

Requirements

* Versatile skills with a strong interest in digital electronics and/or embedded software



* Hands-on and eager to do practical work with a well-defined methodic approach



* Apply first experience in lab environments, electronical/mechanical measurement systems



* Practical hands-on experience and troubleshooting skills and measurement methodology



* Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or similar



* Swiss, EU Citizenship, or Valid Swiss Work Permit

Preferences
* Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

* Internship length from February 2021 for 6 months
