Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Nordic

Your tasks

• Health Care Professional (HCP) interaction and development. This will include developing relationships with various HCPs and providing them with credible, fair balanced, scientific information about Tillotts Pharma (TP) products and TP product developments.


• Act as a major source of balanced medical information for HCPs and will be capable of issues management and addressing questions about safety and use of TP products based on available scientific data.


• Act as an expert on our products and their therapeutic areas. This will involve regular and extensive reviews of the literature, developing presentations and assisting with publications and medical communications.


• Participation in scientific meetings attend appropriate scientific congresses and conferences.


• Play a critical role in internal training and communication with the Medical Team the franchise team and territory managers.


• Knowledge sharing and education both internally and externally will be a key area of responsibility.


• Responsible for assisting the Medical team in the identification of potential research projects and speakers.


• Work across the organisation as required to assist and/or lead in interactions with HCPs across different geographies and be comfortable working in a matrix organisation.


• Territorial responsibility for the Nordic countries with a base at Tillotts Pharma’s office in Bromma, Stockholm.

Who you are

• Scientific background at a Master’s degree level in pharmacy, pharmacology or bio-medical sciences, PhD degree is advantageous


• Experienced professional with a successful performance in a scientific communication role, preferably in gastroenterology / inflammatory bowel diseases.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish, other language skills are a plus


• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).


• Good understanding of local ethical codes and legal requirements in the Nordics


• Well-developed social- and relationship building ability


• High level of planning and organisational skills


• Flexible and adaptable to meet departmental and organisational needs


• Experience of presenting to internal and external stakeholders


• Experience of working in a customer focused environment


• Awareness of commercial processes at local country level – with a proven ability to critic and influence content of commercial material


• High level of self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of an integrated matrix organisation.
  Strong critical and independent thinking with effective team working skills
