Role


Join Visium’s sales team and actively contribute to our expansion in Switzerland and internationally. You will report directly to our Head of Sales and work closely together with our AI Solution Architects and Technical Sales Associates in a wide range of exciting and challenging tasks for a specific industry. 


 


As the Senior Key Account Executive, you will be responsible for nurturing and advancing the relationships with some of our main clients such as Roche, Novartis, and Nestlé. You will spearhead all new initiatives within those accounts and therefore be a decisive factor in our company’s growth. You will be responsible for building long-lasting relationships with executives of these world-leading companies while establishing pivotal and meaningful AI Use-Cases.


Working alongside AI Solution Architects, you will ideate, design, and scope AI use-cases from a business and technical point of view to help some of the world’s biggest brands accelerate their AI adoption. Your role will span the entirety of the sales funnel - from gaining new opportunities to nurturing relationships with existing clients and ensuring long-term collaboration.


What you will do 



  • Grow Key Accounts while developing and establishing new business to increase sales


  • Maximize the revenue by developing and implementing defined new plans and strategies


  • Participating in and leading trade and community events and help in generating enterprise leads by appropriately managing the existing relationships and by using networking contacts


  • Negotiating on the prices of contracts that are related to the sales activities


  • Identifying the prospective accounts by conducting proper research and analysis and make relevant product presentations, formally or informally


  • Maintaining strong business relationships with clients (often c-level executives)


  • Independently qualifying and navigating prospects/opportunities through the entire sales cycle 


  • Understanding the client requirements and tailoring services according to their needs


  • Navigating both external and internal stakeholders and politics



Desired skills and experience



  • Proven experience and track record as a Senior Key Account Executive for tailored services or tailored solutions/products - Consultative selling capabilities, strong discovery skills & business acumen


  • 5-10 years of sales experience


  • 3+ years in a sales role nurturing a specific industry: Pharma, Chemicals, or Banking. Basic knowledge of AI is advantageous but not required


  • Outstanding knowledge of Google Suite; savvy CRM user (Salesforce is a plus)


  • English mandatory. German or French are a plus


  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships


  • Be collaborative and team-oriented


  • Self-starter that is punctual with a strong work ethic for constant self-improvement


  • Ability to cope with change in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
